Molly has spent the last few days since her arrival in the UK, testing the Suzuki ahead of this weekend's Trackrod Rally. Here's her blog from the last few days......
Just got back from testing which went well. It was great to hop in the car and get a feel for it. It took a while to get used to left hand drive and I still need to feel more familiar with it, but the car feels good and it will be a lot of fun to drive.
The test track was set on an old airfield. It was a concrete road with gravel on top and the course was defined by tyres (they use it for a rally school here). It was fairly tight which was ideal to get a feel for car placement when you are sitting on the wrong side of the car!
On Thursday we will have another test in the Yorkshire forests, near the location of the rally. I'm looking forward to getting a feel for the car at higher speeds and finding a set up for the event.
I'm feeling a bit nervous but very excited also to see what it's like through the forest. It's very beautiful over here and there hasn't been too much rain, so hopefully it will stay that way!
