Following the approval of the CAMS Board, Chairman of the Australian Rally Commission, Mr Colin Trinder, has announced the composition of the new ARCom that will lead Australian rallying through its next period of evolution.
Amongst the appointments is Molly Taylor, who, along with Spencer Lowndes and Warwick Rooklyn, has been appointed as a specialist adviser. Molly will be the youngest member of ARCom, but she brings with her first hand knowledge of competing in club & state level rallies as well as the highly competitive Australian Rally Championship.
Trinder said that ARCom had received expressions of interest from a number of high quality candidates with the necessary experience, passion and commitment to make a significant contribution to the work of the Commission.
"The individuals appointed strike a balance between experience, youth, technical expertise and a spread of geographical representation. Having such a breadth of experience will ensure that the Commission is tapping into a diversity of views about matters impacting on our sport."
Molly is excited about her new role and is looking forward to working with her fellow ARCom members.
“I feel very honoured to have been selected to fulfil this role within the Commission and having the opportunity to be proactive in regards to the future of our exciting sport”.
