Molly Taylor will compete in this weekend’s coates Rally Queensland after a last-minute decision to start the event in her Mitsubishi Mirage.
With the support of Penrith Mitsubishi in Sydney, Molly and co-driver Toni Feaver will compete in the third round of the Australian Rally Championship, which starts at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast on Friday night.
It was at Rally Queensland in 2007 where Molly made her ARC debut, setting the rallying world on fire with a brilliant ninth outright.
She returns to the event full of confidence after recently finishing seventh outright and first in the two-wheel drive class in the Robertstown Rally – a round of the South Australian Rally Championship (see Molly’s photo gallery).
Her Mirage has had a gearbox overhaul, and general tidying up before this weekend’s event.
She has been seeded 17th for Rally Queensland, the first two-wheel drive car.
Check back for updates on Molly’s progress over the coming weekend.
