It was a very successful weekend for Molly at the Myall Lakes Rally, with a trouble free run ending in victory in the multi-club component of the event.
With Kate Bowler alongside her in the co-driver's seat, the girls spent Saturday writing pace notes for the rally before Sunday's competitive action. The rally consisted of four stages each run twice and a total competitive distance of around 120 kilometres. Although Molly had driven some of the roads previously in last year's Australian Rally Championship event held in the area, the roads were this time used in reverse, so the pair had to write all their pace notes from scratch.
"It was fantastic to have a really clean run with no problems," Molly said. "Everything went really smoothly and the car ran perfectly. Even the weather was kind and stayed fine. It was great fun!"
