Molly has finished today's Rallye des Femmes in Canberra, in second place.
Driving a factory-supported Mazda 2 for the first time, Molly was very happy with her result and the performance of the Mazda. Despite the smaller engine capacity of the Mazda, Molly was able to beat rally winner, Canberran Cathy Donohue in her Mitsubishi Evo 8, on the last stage of the day.

Molly puts the little Mazda through its pacesThe rally took on a compact one-day format and ran on forestry roads just outside the Nation's capital.  Whilst a little slippery, the roads were quite smooth, having recently been graded.
"I am very happy with today's result," Molly said at the finish.  "The car ran really well and it was nice to have a chance to drive something different."
"It was my first route-charted event for quite some time, and it was Sam's (co-driver, Samantha Stevens) first one ever, so it was a little different.  I think she was wanting to call the notes into the corners for me!"
"I would like to thank Alan Horsley and the team from Mazda Motorsport for giving me this opportunity.  I've had a ball today!"
