Coral Taylor, Molly's Mum, is currently in the UK and has provided the following report from the Isle of Man International Rally in which Molly is competing.
"We've just arrived back from Leg 1.   It was a very challenging day to say the least. The Manx Rally lived up to all expectations.  Very tricky, bumpy, narrow roads."
"There were lots of incidents and everytime someone has a moment, it blocks the very narrow roads.  There were so many delays and many diversions for the crews when the roads were not cleared. ( Molly and other (Suzuki) crews didn't do 40% of the stages due to accidents -so they had lots of derived times.)"
"Molly had an overshoot in one stage and a spin in another which took a 6 point turn in between the hedges to get going again! Rain is forecast for tomorrow afternoon which can be quite treacherous here."
At the mid-point service break, Molly commented, "We are getting more confident but spun early in SS8 on cold tyres."
The Isle of Man International Rally is round 4 of the British Rally Championship and round 4 of the Swift Sport Cup.  It continues on Saturday with eight stages totalling 80 stage miles.
Molly currently sits fourth in class and 21st outright in the event.
