The Stonethrowers rally was set in beautiful Ireland, green rolling hills and perfect sunny summer weather.
"As a shakedown before the Ulster Rally I wanted to get a good feeling with the car and gain more speed," Molly said. "After the wet and slippery Isle of Man it was a fantastic feeling to get on a dry piece of tarmac and have some grip! I felt like I had a lot of confidence and am beginning to drive as committed on tarmac as I would on a gravel stage which is what I have been working on all year."
"It was frustrating that we lost a lot of time with our seeding, catching cars on the stages, but at the same time was a good incentive to see how far we could get up the field during the event! It would have been nice to have a clean run, but more importantly I think I gained more out of the event in terms of experience for the Ulster than I had anticipated.
"Having mum back in the car was great and the notes had a really good rhythm which definitely helped the pace and commitment.
"It is a great community of rallying in Ireland and the whole atmosphere was really enjoyable to be a part of."
