Molly ready for Scottish tarmac battle |
Molly is in Scotland for this weekend’s Jim Clark Rally, round 3 of the British Rally Championship.
After doing some more testing in the Citroen C2R2 in Ireland last weekend, Molly is really looking forward to the event after learning more about the car.
“I am really looking forward to the rally and after the test I have a much better understanding of what the car is capable of on these type of roads. It is some buzz on the limiter in 5th over a bumpy narrow road!” Molly said.

It's 9.45pm on Friday night and yet again I find myself sitting on the familiar ferry between Scotland and Ireland, heading to what is now very much my second home..
Last weekend I had the chance to have a run on the infamous Irish Tarmac down at the Killarney rally. It was a jump in the deep end but one I had to take to get the miles and confidence up. It was a really worthwhile experience, despite feeling like going from hero to zero in a week – coming from winning stages at the Pirelli to being miles off the pace the next weekend! The important thing was to get experience and the changeable conditions and bumpy stages were ideal. Also to have a run at Molls Gap was pretty special. It was amazing to think that I was on the other side of the world driving on roads which I had watched in awe a few years ago – it put things into perspective a bit.
