Molly's Blog - Testing the Citroen |
I don’t know if I have ever been so exhausted and excited at the same time! Everything has been so busy but the experiences and opportunities I have had have been pretty unforgettable.
On Saturday I had my first test in the new car and I have to say I am still buzzing. The car was very impressive. The sequential gearbox and that extra bit of power compared to what I am used to make a huge difference. I spent the day with Nial McShea who helped me get the best out of the car and set it up. His experience and feel for the car were incredibly valuable. The car has four way adjustable suspension and we were able to make lots of changes and end up with a setup which gave me a good amount of confidence in the car. There is still a big learning curve ahead but I feel we have made a good start. The car had basically been re-built from the ground up and had no faults all day, which is a testament to John McKillop and the boys.

Molly's Blog - March 2010 |
Another mad couple of weeks.. I have spent the last two weekends in Ireland helping the boys get the car ready and we started her up last Sunday. It was such a buzz to hear her run and to think I will actually be driving it soon.
The McCormack’s, John, Paddy, Niall and all the boys who have spent almost every night in the workshop for the past two weeks, have done an incredible job to get everything built up and we are now getting the final touches sorted before the first test next weekend. We have taken plenty of photos, so I will get some up on the site soon.

Molly's Blog February - Snow, Snow, Snow! |
I’ve just had a pretty amazing couple of weeks. Unexpectedly, I was given the opportunity to work at Rally Sweden with M-Sport and the Ford Hospitality team. So, suddenly I ended up in Sweden, deep in snow and in temperatures that ranged from minus 14 to minus 20 during the week. It was so cold that the hydraulic fluid in the car jacks froze in the service park.
My first few days were spent doing a recce of the spectating route planned for the Team Guests over the weekend. It was so beautiful driving through completely white forests, and the snow was so soft, that when you walked through the snow banks you quickly ended up waist deep in snow!
